The History
NOVA PROGETTI was founded in early 1982 by Renzo Avidano and Mario Colucci, until shortly before, respectively General Manager and Technical Director dell’Abarth S.p.A. In 1998 it has been further strengthened with the participation of two new members specialists in computer techniques, Maurilio Cornaglia and Gualtiero Scuderi. Since 2001 also Stefano Iacoponi, former Technical Director of Fiat Auto, collaborates in the company.
NOVA PROGETTI key feature is the ability to propose innovative solutions that derive from the experience of sporting activities and that take account of costs and industrial feasibility, as required by the production of large series. Its activity has been gradually developing through contacts with the technical departments of many companies, particularly in the automotive field, components and vehicles for special uses, that found in NOVA PROGETTI a valuable contributor to the solution of complex and unusual technical problems.
NOVA PROGETTI performs feasibility studies and executive design of engines, transmissions, suspensions, chassis and its lay-out, including the FEM model and its structural and modal analysis and motion analysis, elastokinematics and virtual analysis of the dynamic behavior of vehicle. The attitude to the project management and ability to interface with any third party complete the offer which is aimed at providing a complete service with the help of the best multimedia communication techniques.
